So I was visiting Nat-an's blog...and noticed a little something that I felt worth passing along

Hey Betty.... so I'm not sure that I agree with that statement any more... I used to think that it was just a funny nice thing, encouraging us to be ourselves. But I struggle with the line that says those who mind don't matter (or something like that) I've been finding that those who mind really do matter, and it's our differences that make us better people. Someone elses differnt theology (for example) is what strengthens and forms mine. If every one agreed with my theology we'd all be in for a lot of trouble. But through discussion, arguement, and debate we grow and develop new understandings of who God is. So in reality those who mind, do matter. They may not be right... but they do matter. So while I love the saying and it rhymes and sounds really good. I don' think I agree with it anymore.... just a thought.
